モルックは、フィンランド・カレリア地方の伝統的なゲーム「キイッカ（kyykkä）」を元に、1996年にLahden Paikka社（旧Tuoterengas社）が開発したスポーツです。
本場フィンランドでは、サウナとビールを楽しみながら気軽にプレイされており、世代を問わず親しまれています。
